Rebekah is a classically trained acupuncturist and East Asian medicine practitioner. She is a registered clinical counsellor (MPCC) and her background includes more than a decade as an ambulance paramedic, a paramedic trainer for 23 years with St John Ambulance.
Almost twenty years ago, when her job as a paramedic began affecting her health Rebekah experienced such a powerful healing effect from acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine that she changed to a career in Oriental medicine and since then, her life has never been better!
In gratitude and service, Rebekah now dedicates herself to helping others feel good, look good and to build a meaningful life. Rebekah's experiences as a childhood survivor of the streets and foster care system, and as a long-time advocate of women's health and empowerment inform her perspective and make her a powerful and empathetic healer.
As part of her lifestyle of health cultivation Rebekah practices daily meditation and qigong. She is a long time student of karate and aikido, a permaculture design consultant and avid gardener and a budding choir director, with a great love of singing her way through life.
